It's Marion here for this week's Topical Tuesday (even though it is Wednesday - my apologies for the delay :) Today I have a video on how to create a watercolour effect using distress markers and water. This technique works best with solids stamps. For this project I have mainly used the Designer Flowers stamp set.
Hope you enjoy.
I would love to see your creations. Please
share them in the gallery over at the Ning House.

Hi all and welcome to Topical Tuesday! This week I couldn't resist colouring with my Inktense Pencils once again, and sharing how easy it is to blend two different colours with these pencils!
I've used an 'oldie but a goodie' for my images today! They come from the Jasmine Hambling designed set of 'Hold A Candle', and it's a fun to colour set and perfect for all ages!
Here's my finished card :
See the two little dots after the sentiment? I accidentally touched down twice on the paper without realising before settling on where I wanted to stamp! I kind of liked it so I left it as it was lol!
The sentiment has been raised with dimensional foam, and I resisted keeping it straight (I find it very hard!!) and attached it on an angle!
Here's my quicker than usual video today, and I hope you enjoy watching!
Hi all! Well here it is my turn again to bring you this week's TT, and I had to think long and hard about what to do and came up with this...my second mixed media page! Really what I was wanting to do was 'try' out my new Faber Castell Gelatos and markers, so that's what I did, sometimes you just need to get in there and have a play! I made mistakes but honestly had such a fun time doing it! You'll have to forgive the middle part of the video as I taped it at night and the glare from my lamp left me blind to half of what I was doing lol!
Here's the final page :
The words I've simply printed from my computer because at this stage I'm just not brave enough to write them. I did a number of calligraphy classes years ago in different styles, and must start again, it's all about practice!
And here is the video, I hope you enjoy!
Hugs for now,
Hi everyone,
It's Marion here. Today I have a little video for you on creating your own stationery set. Lots of inky goodness and what's more, I found this process very therapeutic!
Hope you enjoy.
Take a look through your stamps and see what may work for you. I would love to see your creations. Please share them in the gallery over at the Ning House.

Welcome to our Topical Tuesday! This week and next week I'm afraid you'll be seeing me again as we do a bit of catch up with the Belle DT changes happening at the moment, so I hope you won't be bored, I do tend to do something with pencils!
This week I'm calling our TT a 'Mixed Media Card'. Now I'll be honest here, I don't actually know what mixed media exactly stands for, but to me it sounds like when you use lots of different things to colour, and different mediums to add texture or highlight, so with that I made this card. When I started, apart from the three panels and the first 3 colours of pencil I didn't know what I was going to do, I even had a different stamp out to use :)
The card is for a friends Mum who's birthday it is today, and I said to my friend - vibrant or pastel? Well she chose vibrant, I hope she isn't too shocked with what she'll be getting lol! Don't worry I'm not really late with the card, my friend won't be seeing her Mum until Friday, phew!
I have a video below but I will detail the colours I've used just in case you'd like to know, and hopefully in sequence :)
Inks : Versafine, DI Pine Needles, Memento Lilac Posies
This is a close up of the centre panel, it gives you a bit more of an idea of the texture gesso and using brushes gives, oh and fingers! They are great to blend both the Gelatos and Big Brush Pens with! (They were a Christmas gift from DH! I don't have many colours but would love some more lol!) You'll see or the imperfections, but that was half the fun! Well most of the fun really!
Now on to the video.

Hi there,
It's Marion here from Made Marion, showing you how I create ribbon flowers using some of the gorgeous satin ribbons that can be found in the AnnaBelle store here. For today's project, I created a floral centrepiece for a gift box - perfect to give to someone special this coming Valentines.
Enjoy the video.
I can't wait to see what you create using this technique. I hope you will share them with us in the gallery found here (please use the tag tt053).
Hi it's Therese from Lostinpaper, back with the next Topical Tuesday's installment! Today I've got a video tutorial sharing how I made this card...
And showing you just how easy it is to get a totally different look with your stamps by colouring with your Copic Markers directly onto glitter.
Could it be any funner! Here's my video.... I can't wait to see what you create and would love you to share these at our gallery (please use the tag tt054) Thanks for joining me today, Happy Papercrafting!
Hi all and welcome back for this weeks Topical Tuesday! This week it's my turn so I thought what a great opportunity to show you how easy it is to create the vibrant background to the card I made for our release blog hop using Inktense pencils. I love working with these pencils! They are so vibrant and rich and because they are permanent once dry you work and build on the colour without effecting whats underneath!
Unfortunately with the video the lamp I used to brighten my work area left the videoed result a little washed out, but I hope you can still get the idea on how I made this card! You simply can't go wrong with these pencils and the more you play with them the more you become addicted to them!
Good morning everyone and welcome to this week's Topical Tuesday!
