Thanks ladies, these are amazing!  This set will discounted by 20% for one week only so if you love it grab it while you can!

Now some shop talk!  At the end of this month I've had to make the decision to stop my FREE Shipping option due to increased postage charges.  What will be put in place is a tiered system with discounted shipping for orders over $100.00 for all Australian orders and the weighted system will remain for international orders.

Have a wonderful weekend all!

Topical Tuesday # 84

Hello,

Sue with you today for a little Topical Tuesday project.  I thought I'd share another way to use AnnaBelle's latest BBD #8. This fabulous pink rubber set is full of banners, polka dots, arrows and sentiments so lots of fun to play with.

How about making a paper bow.....no die required just stamps, ink and a sharp pair of scissors.

  • Stamp the striped banner 5 times to a 4" wide strip of card. The 5th strip needs only be 1.5" long as this sits around the centre of the bow.
  • Cut the banners using sharp scissors or a rotary blade, as I did. Trim out the shaped V section on two strips.

  • The loops are made individually, folding one end under the other. Securing with double sided tape.
  • Adhere one loop over the other, using double sided tape.
  • Position the shaped 'ties' beneath the loops, trimming off and excess. I slant mine down at a slight angle but they look equally nice sitting directly under the loops. Adhere using more double sided tape.
  • Add a foam tab to the centre of the bow then wrap the last stamped strip around the centre of the bow, securing with tape at the back.
  • Run the back of your scissors around the inside of the bow with your thumb on the outer side to shape the loops.

To complete my card I stamped the wide stripes to white card, trimmed and added this to the bottom of the card front.  The bold polka dots stamped in the same ink and die cut using ABS shapes 1 die with a sentiment popped up on foam tabs. Then to finish some bling with an ABS chilli heart.

I hope you might be tempted to give this a try   :-)

Happy Friday everyone!!  It's the end of the week and the weekend looms, YAY!  It has turned cold once again here with our beautiful Spring days disappearing, but hopefully they will return for the school holidays :)

We have cause for a celebration this weekend as well with AnnBelle Stamps turning 4!  I can't believe it, but you can't have a birthday without a small celebration can you, so for 1 week starting from today we have 20% off storewide* (excluding our clearance section).  Simply use the code - 4years - at checkout for the discount to be applied!

Now on to our Friday Feature, and this week we are taking a look at one of our new cling releases Butterfly Sunshine.  This has been one I have already used quite a few times and I think you'll love seeing what the Belles have created for us today!

Topical Tuesday #83 - Silhouette Shades

Hello all and welcome to a new Topical Tuesday!  This week I had to get a move on as it was my turn to put something together, and I haven't stamped in weeks!!  I had a 21st card to make last weekend which I did, but didn't have time to photograph would you believe lol!

This week I thought I'd go to one of our silhouette sets - Fanciful Flowers - and play with colouring and shading the silhouette images.

You can see the strokes of the pencils and I think it almost makes it look as though I drew the flowers...what do you think??  This is of course what a lot of stampers have done with character images, something I haven't tried as yet :)

To match my flowers I simply swiped the side of my white card base with DI Worn Lipstick then attached my top panels.

Here's my video for today, and I hope you enjoy watching!!

Have a lovely evening everyone!

Andrea

AC171 Theme Challenge

Hello all and welcome to the AnnaBelle Stamps Blog Monthly Challenge!  Yes we are making our challenges monthly, YAY!  This gives even me a little more time to play along lol!  We also, after much thought, have decided that it's time that only AnnaBelle Stamps are used as the focal image.  We have shared with everyone for a long time now and think it's time to concentrate just on us :)

We thought too that rather than having a 'Favourite' that we'd make the prize a random selection so that everyone has a chance to win!  We will still have our Top3 shares but I would love your thoughts on whether or not we make this a voted slot??  I have seen this done and it looks a lot of fun!  The Inlinkz would close a few days earlier and I'd blog a reminder to you all to come by and vote for your favourite!  Let me know what you think!!

See all the details below!

Let's see what our first monthly challenge is!

This is so open to interpretation!  But I see lot's of paint splatter going on so I think that's where I'll be starting :)  Let's see what the Belles thought...

Now the full details on how to play along!!

About our challenges:

- We post our challenges the first Friday of each month at 8:00pm AEST (AEDT during Daylight Savings).
- Each challenge runs until 24 hours prior to the next challenge.
- All entries must include AnnaBelle Stamps as the main stamped image, this can include our digi range.

- One random winner will be the lucky recipient of a $20.00 AnnaBelle Stamps Discount Coupon!  This opens the challenge up for everyone to play along with and to have a chance at the prize.

- We will feature our Top3 picks and announce the winner prior to the next challenge going live.
How To Play Along :

- Copy and save our challenge banner and include it and a link back to the ABS blog in your post if you have a blog.

- For those without a blog you can still play along!  Simply upload your card to a image sharing site like Flickr and include a link to the challenge in your description.
- Please link directly to your entry not just to your blog or page.
- Please don't link to postings made prior to the date of our current challenge.  All projects submitted must be new.

- You may enter any of our challenges several times as long as each submission is with a new creation.
- Only AnnaBelle Images can be used as the main image.

- Have fun!

We hope to see you all playing along with us over the next month!  In between we will still have lots of projects to share so stay tuned!

Have a wonderful weekend soaking up the Spring sunshine (for some of us)!!

Hugs for now,

Andrea

Topical Tuesday #82: Adding Detail

Hi everyone, it's Marcia here. It's my turn to host Topical Tuesday and today I am sharing how I use my Copic Multiliner to add detail to stamped images before I colour them.

Most images are pretty amazing as they are, but sometimes I love to add some personal touches. In the case of today, it's adding in some clothing detail and extra embellishment.

I've used the Annabelle Stamps image called 'Lil Monster's Birthday' ... I've stamped it on blending card in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

 photo TT1_zpsc255c391.jpg

He's pretty cute as is, but using my multiliner sized 0.1, I've added in the following details:
  • Some jewels on his crown
  • Big fat polka dots on the balloon
  • A shirt seam with buttons
  • Cuffs onto his sleeves
  • Some ground for him to stand on

Once I did this, I coloured him up with my Copics, matching him to my printed papers - which in this case have come from Carta Bella 'Well Played' range.

He's now ready to make his appearance on the front of a card!

You can use your multiliner to add all kind of details to your images:
  • Freckles
  • Flowers
  • Clouds
  • Fences
  • Roads
  • Brick walls (a favourite of mine)
  • Hair ribbons
The possibilities are endless. But you must use a Copic multiliner pen, otherwise your black ink will bleed once you colour over it with Copic markers.

Now here is Lil Monster in all his glory .... have a fab day!
