A Birthday Closing Announcement

Hi all!  Well we are nearly at the end of AnnaBelle Stamps with the closure of the store now looking to be the end of October.  This should give anyone with a discount coupon time to use them before we close.  Once the store has closed then I will shift all remaining stamp sets across to a page here on the blog with a Paypal button for purchase.

Tomorrow would have been our 5th birthday so even though everything is already reduced I have a discount code for you to use through until the end of the month offering a further 15% off storewide.  All orders received this week will go out as normal, but the first week of school holidays (22nd September - 28th September) we will be away so all orders received that week will ship the following :)

Hi all, I hope your week is going well so far!  I've been spending my time updating all stock pricing with new discounted amounts ready for this months final sale.  It's time that I finished playing with AnnaBelle Stamps in its current form and moved on, so in order to do that I've discounted everything in store by at least 20% - 70%!  There's no need for a discount code, you'll see the new pricing reflected now so be sure to take a look and see what bargains are available.  There are limited numbers to some sets, and some are already 'Out of Stock'.  I won't be replacing any stock so once its gone, its gone :)

Ooops!  I kind made a big bad last night and missed setting up this post, and Therese has such a gorgeous card to share with us this week!!!  Sorry Therese!

This month we are showcasing the set 'Remember When' which was illustrated by Kristy Patterson and it's a beautiful one for colouring!

Friday Feature - Remember When

Can you believe it, it's Friday already!  This month we will be working with the set 'Remember When' so we hope you'll love seeing what the Belles have to share!  Tonight though it's just a single card from me.  My image had been coloured over a week ago and I played with it so often I thought best to just leave it as is even though I wasn't happy with the final result! 

I coloured the image with Prismacolors and then decided to sponge around it with Distress Inks before finishing with Inktense!  In the end I had to say no more!!!  But that doesn't take away from the gorgeous images designed by Kristy Paterson in this set :)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy sharing Mother's Day with someone special!  For me my Mum is "Always on my mind"..

Friday Feature - Fanciful Flowers

Hello all, I hope hope you've had an amazing week, I certainly have!  This month we are looking at the set Fanciful Flowers, and with next Friday being Good Friday we'll only have a couple of weeks to share!

Because it's been so long since I last made a card I reached for my very much loved Inktense pencils to use with this set…

The images were stamped on to watercolour paper with DI Scattered Straw.  I wasn't concerned that DI are water based inks because I was going over the image with the Inktense.  After completing the colouring I overstamped with our new large background image BBD9 very lightly with DI Antique Linen, in fact you can only just make it out :)
