Topical Tuesday #64~Notepad Cover
Hi Guys,
It's Kylie here with another Topical Tuesday Tutorial and today I have a super easy Notepad cover that would make a great little gift or for having by the phone or computer and today I am using two ABS stamp sets, my favourite 'Sentimental Bluebells' and 'BBD 6'
Here's the Notepad Cover:
I have used a notepad from Officeworks and they come in a pack of 4 and I asked the shop assistant to cut the pads in half so they measure arrprox 7.3cm X 19.7cm and you can also get these tall shopping notepads from your $1.00 cheap stores(love these stores, it's amazing what you can find in them lol)
So let's make our Notepad cover using goodies from Annabelle Stamps!
Take a piece of ABS Kraft Cardstock measuring 18cm X 20.9cm and score at the 18cm at 8.5cm and 9.5cm
Print off a sheet of Blossom Dots from the Classic Chilli Digi Papers onto ABS Smooth White Cardstock and cut two pieces at 7.9cm X 20.4cm for your front and back covers and two lengths of ribbon at approx. 28cm for your ribbon closure
Using double sided tape adhere your ribbon to your front and back covers as this will be your notepad closure(don't worry, no-one will see your taped ribbon lol)
Adhere your two Blossom Dots panels onto your front and back covers
Take a piece of the Blossom Dots paper and cut it measuring 7.4cm X 6cm and score at 2.3cm X 3.4cm and adhere it around the top of your notepad
Adhere your notepad into your cover using double sided tape
Now it's time to embellish the cover of your notepad and this is how I embellished mine:
I used a piece of Brown card stock measuring 7.9cm X 5.5cm and using ABS 'BBD6' stamp set, and the music note panel, I used some ABS Clear-Gloss Embossing Powder and heat embossed the image and adhere the panel onto the front of my cover
and then I used ABS 'Sentimental Bluebells' stamp set and created my circle medallion embellishment by using the gorgeous decorative circle image, circle dies and my all time favourite sentiment 'Just A Note' in Pink ink and popped it up using 3D foam and finished off by placing some 3mm Blossom Sprinkles around the scallops on the die cut circle and adhered it to the front of my cover!
Here's my finished Notepad Cover:
